Curated by Dr. Ingrid Pfeiffer, Fantastic Women, features over 260 works by 34 women artists who were directly involved in the Surrealist movement begun in Paris in the 1920s. The exhibition includes work by Leonora Carrington, Dorothea Tanning, and Remedios Varo.
Taking place at the Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt, Germany, the exhibition will travel to The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Humlebæk, Denmark.
