Gallery Wendi Norris is pleased to present new works by Val Britton and Eric Siemens at the 2020 edition of UNTITLED, ART San Francisco.
Never shown in tandem before, the booth will explore the simpatico yet opposite nature of the two artists’ work, both visually and conceptually. Both artists employ the visual language of cartography and its relationship to formal abstraction, though through very different means – Britton through collage and ink painting on paper and Siemens through impasto-like applications of acrylic on canvas. The booth itself will highlight the dichotomous nature of their practices with high-contrast walls as if representing yin and yang.
